Few people have Gary’s initiative. At nine, he was singing at weddings and funerals; at ten, he started driving to high school; at seventeen, he earned a full music scholarship; at twenty-one, he earned his degree; by twenty-four, he was a Master Plumber; and at forty-eight, he traveled the world as a flight attendant. After retiring for a full fourteen hours where sitting idle was about as much fun as counting air sickness bags, Gary thankfully brought his unique perspectives and insatiable curiosity to us.
