The Challenge

Deliver a cost-effective, value-oriented system with dedicated customer support

Orchard Farms School District has been operating as a public school in St. Charles, Missouri. Physically located in the plains between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, their HVAC system plays a crucial role in maintaining comfortable air circulation and humidity control. Though partially updated over the decades, it was time to invest in a modern, integrated solution. Having worked closely with them in the past, they reached out with clear objectives for system and provider needs: high efficiency, easy maintenance, reliability, redundancy, temperature, and most importantly, dehumidification control, in addition to training and support.

Experienced with the realities of tight county budgets, it was essential to provide a viable solution grounded in long-term efficiency. Working closely with district partners, we collaboratively satisfied and even exceeded each objective.

Solution

Centralized, cost-effective comfort in every classroom and common area

Having provided the district with more than 100 packaged units since the 1990s, we were well-versed in the operating capabilities of their equipment. Together, a highly-collaborative group of manufacturers, vendors, and district representatives arrived at a precise, fully-integrated system of  AAON units to serve each zone while allowing for redundancy. Additionally, AAON’s ¼ turn handles, 2-inch foam panels and color wiring diagrams were provided to the maintenance to facilitate staff ease-of-use.
