AC Systems was tasked with providing the DOAS equipment for One Cardinal Way. Being multilevel residences, the building requires adequate ventilation for the occupants. Treating ventilation air for extreme temperatures and humidity is essential to maintaining a healthy building both for the occupants and the building’s integrity. In addition, for increased efficiency and ease of maintenance, the multi-level building was designed to operate from cooling towers.

The units were provided with a customized solution providing the required turndown necessary to compensate for varying external air conditions.
OUR WORK INCLUDED
- Provide (2) AAON 120-ton Rooftop DOAS Units for Ventilation with the following:
- Water Cooled Unit with Piping Vestibules and Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
- Tandem variable speed compressors
- AAON Controls
- 4-Stage Gas Heat
RESULTS
A workable, state-of-the-art, energy-efficient DOAS system provides the proper treatment of outside air to meet the complex ventilation requirements of the building.
